Onam/Chocolate Milkshake Day/Programmer's Day/Video Games Day
2008-09-12 @ 11:40 p.m.

Went to collect my visa, which took little more than 10 minutes. Then I headed over to Funan, where I was completely bewildered by the range of stores. So I headed to the Challenger superstore, where I bought everything that I was looking for. I probably paid a little more for the stuff than I had to, but hey, the convenience was worth it. My Logitech webcamera is like my new toy. Haha! Then I walked down along North Bridge Road to the STA Travel office to make my ISIC, which was by far the most hassle-free thing I've done in relation to going overseas. In fact, the amount of time I spent waiting for Caleb to show up to make his ISIC far exceeded the amount of time we actually spent getting it done! Then we grabbed a bite at Bugis Junction, and I headed to Kinokuniya to browse. Picked up Justin Evans's A Good & Happy Child. It's a pretty interesting read so far, even if the plot elements are familiar. Will post more about it when I've finished reading.
