What an eventful day. I had my penultimate tuition session, which was uneventful. I feel like I don't really help my tutee all that much, and sometimes I think he doesn't really want to be helped. Oh well. Then I went to Lot 1, where I ended up buying a collared tee and a short-sleeved shirt from Man Studio. I like the designs there, so this doesn't really count as an impulse buy. I actually just wandered in, hoping to find something nice. The saleswoman was a bit annoying though. I know she was just trying to be helpful, but asking me to try practically everything in the store isn't going to make me buy more stuff! Was late meeting Shirley in town. I managed to find quite a few books from my reading list at Kinokuniya, so I was quite pleased about that. Shall start reading them soon! Got myself that new Crumpler bag, and in the same colour combination as my first one. Don't judge. I've already rationalised it to my own satisfaction anyway! Last stop of the day was at Claudia's place, for her not-birthday barbeque. So I bought her a not-birthday present. Haha! Again, I saw people that I haven't seen in ages, like Aparna and Kelly. Everyone seems to have been enjoying themselves tremendously while they're abroad, which only makes me more determined to do likewise. Let the good times roll...
