Lemon Juice Day/Chop Suey Day/College Colors Day/Blueberry Festival (Indiana)/Gold Rush Days (California)
2008-08-29 @ 11:51 p.m.

Have been thinking of getting Sarah Brightman's albums, the ones where she does what's been labelled operatic pop. It sounds like something I'd enjoy. Suddenly thought of it while walking through That CD Shop in Raffles City yesterday. I think the cover artwork for her latest album, Symphony, is pretty cool. It's tasteful, not skanky like the covers of Eden or Harem. I suppose when you're approaching the half-century mark, you naturally tone things down. Unless you're Liza Wang, in which case you go past the big 50 and then some, and decide you'll pose in a swimsuit for a slimming ad. It's not a crime to flaunt it if you've got it, but still, once you're past a certain age, a bit of modesty would be nice. I'm old-fashioned that way. Was late for Caleb's party because I got a bit lost, but when I did get there, it was a night of camwhoring. The evidence is on Facebook already, with guilty parties tagged. The usual suspects, of course. Some of us went to KAP McDonald's to hang out for a while, where further hilarity ensued. Now I'm feeling like I should cancel tuition tomorrow. Shall see which part of me wins out in the morning. Lazy me or materialistic me?
