Senior Citizens Day/Scrape The Bugs Day
2008-08-21 @ 10:07 p.m.

Just got back from rock climbing at SAFRA Yishun, which was good fun. Turns out Petrina's friend who came to join us was Eddison. My arms are going to hurt tomorrow. I think that was the most physical activity I've engaged in post-OBS. Haha! Yesterday, I finished reading Idea To Ideal: 12 Singapore Poets On The Writing Of Their Poems, edited by Felix Cheong. Though a slim volume, it provided some interesting insights into the writing process. Personally, I'm not one to keep drafts of my poems, since I compose and edit simultaneously, which kind of leaves no drafts to speak of whatsoever. Plus I tend not to revise things that I've already posted in my poetry blog. Have two parties to attend tomorrow, and I've already decided to cab from one to the other, since I won't be saddled with the peak hour surcharge. Now if only I had more money, life would be that much closer to being perfect. Sigh. Shallow, incapable of budgeting, guilty as charged. Bite me...
