I'm turning into quite the social butterfly recently. Attended two parties within the space of six hours! Went to Yi-Xun's birthday celebration at Costa Del Sol. I was the second person to arrive, after Wenxian. I'm proud to say that I didn't get lost! Hung around for about two hours, and met some people that I haven't seen in ages. Like Charmaine Peck. Left with Wenxian, so I shared a cab with him. He got off at Tanjong Pagar MRT, while I continued on to the New Majestic Hotel. Was hoping that Eugene would already be there, but when I called him while I was in the cab, he was still at home, so obviously he couldn't have arrived before me. It didn't matter though, since I stepped into the room to find that people I knew were already there, namely Derrick, Kangwen, Tsz San and Weizhuang, so I had people to chat with anyway. A good thing, since Eugene and Patrick arrived much later than I did! Tsz San was fairly tipsy by the time the party ended, but I called him while I was leaving with Eugene and Patrick to make sure he was fine. He managed to get himself a cab, so I figured he'd be okay. That said, Tsz San's really amusing company when he's got alcohol coursing through his system. The New Majestic Hotel is really picturesque, although they probably weren't used to playing host to a party with so many guests. Anyway, I had fun even without imbibing copious amounts of alcohol, so thank you, Colin, for inviting me, and all the best in Harvard!
