Went for tuition, then headed down to Hong Lim Food Centre to join the MOE people for their food trail. Yeah, I know. Imagine that. Me stepping into a hawker centre. The things I do for friends, I amaze even myself at times. Anyway, we wound up walking through Central after that, where some RP students showed us some card tricks. (They were raising money for charity.) I think card tricks are pretty cool. Must remember to go find out how some of them are done someday, if only to satisfy my own curiosity. Then our food trail got interrupted by Jon Wong's announcement that Alain Robert was climbing Suntec Tower 1. So we trooped down to watch him. Randomly, I was totally amazed by the power of optical zooming when I was snapping pictures of him. He made it to the top, obviously, and I left not long after that to head to my paternal grandmother's place for dinner. Have been feeling super tired the last few days, so I actually wanted to go home and sleep, but it's my grandfather's death anniversary, and since it happens to fall on a weekend this year, the extended family gathered for dinner at my grandmother's. Now I'm still tired, but I told Yan Leen I'd go down and do backup for her tomorrow. That means I can't wake up too late, not if I want to get my haircut tomorrow too. Sigh...
