Stayed up late to finish reading White, the last book in Ted Dekker's The Circle trilogy. It was a good conclusion, in the sense that it tied up enough loose ends, yet left enough questions unanswered that the story can be continued in another novel, or at least a spin-off book series. Technically, there have been spin-off series, and collectively with the original trilogy, they make up The Books Of History Chronicles. The whole universe Dekker has created is really interesting, and it's definitely movie material. A pity that Kinokuniya doesn't even stock that many of his books. Same with Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files series. I'm really glad now that I bought the latter in KL, or I'd really be kicking myself now in Singapore. At least the NLB has stocked quite a few of Dekker's novels, so I can borrow those. Am going out tomorrow to collect my repaired camera and get a present for Colin. Here's hoping I don't end up buying more clothes while I'm in VivoCity...
