I've decided that I'm going to order a Dell Inspiron 1720. It'll cost around $2500, after customisations and upgrades. There's a roadshow going on at Lot 1 though. Might be able to get some more deals there, so I'm popping over there after service on Sunday. I don't think I'll be able to get the laptop in the colour that I want though, as that particular colour, Espresso Brown, doesn't seem to be available for the 1720, at least not according to the online order form. Sigh. I guess I'll get Jet Black instead. Considered Alpine White, but I'm thinking that'll get dirty really easily. Too bad Dell laptops don't come in a nice shade of green. Their Spring Green is really quite gross!
