Tuition was cancelled, so I got a late start to my Saturday again. Went to church for singers' practice. Minutes after arriving, I received a call that resulted in my cancelling of worship practice, which also meant that I was able to make it down early for the J'faien gathering at Big O. Was quite early though, so I walked around Borders for a while to pass the time. Didn't buy anything, as I had neither coupons nor a friend with the Borders card around, and I didn't really see any books that I desperately wanted anyway. Just as well, since I don't think I can afford to spend much more this month! We had our afternoon snack at Big O and generally spent time catching up after not really seeing each other regularly for more than three years. Yeah, it has been that long since we were J1s, sitting on the concourse steps outside the guys' toilet in the Mount Sinai campus. We spontaneously decided to go to Shang Jin's house for dinner, because her basement is just too cosy for words. So we crashed at her house until quite late, but not late enough that we missed the last trains to go home. Haha! We're meeting up again on the eve of National Day anyway...
