Met Caleb and Emmaline for lunch in Raffles City. Caleb suggested The Soup Spoon, but it was too crowded. We bumped into Tim Ng there though, who had also been hoping to grab a bite there, but then suggested we all go to ThaiExpress, which had been Caleb's other suggestion. So that's where we wound up. Strider and Ting popped by for a couple of minutes, and we bumped into Avonne as we were leaving for Suntec. We were all late of course, but we needn't have worried about it, since we weren't even allowed to use the stage until 4 pm. Rehearsal today went about as well as could be expected, given that we hadn't rehearsed onstage with microphones before this. We're supposed to be getting more time to rehearse onstage next week, so hopefully that goes better. Would have gone to watch The Dark Night with Caleb and whoever else it was he managed to find, but I had to be at the Conrad Centennial Singapore for the Warwick pre-departure briefing. It wasn't much of a briefing per se, since I didn't really learn anything new, but it was nice to see some of the freshers whom I hadn't met before this, as well as the seniors. The food was lavishly lovely, although I was a bit too tired to take full advantage of the spread. I also learnt that Wen Jie stays in Yishun, albeit nearer to the Khatib MRT side. I just realised that hardly any of my friends stay in Yishun. I'm trying to think of names, and I can only come up with three: Benuel, Chun Long and Eddison. Haha... |
