Talk To A Telemarketer Day/Personal Chef's Day
2008-07-16 @ 3:15 p.m.

Have played Vanessa Hudgens's song, Hook It Up, so many times that I've lost count. It's insanely catchy, even more so than any of Rihanna's hit singles. It begs the question of why the first single off the former's sophomore album, Identified, is the rather annoying Sneakernight. In any case, the album is stronger than her debut, V, but it's fundamentally still generic pop music that won't sell particularly well outside of the Disney crowd. Doesn't mean I won't listen to it though, since my taste in music can get decidedely trashy at times. Today, I decided to be disciplined and wake up particularly early, at least in comparison to my usual indolent rising at 10 am or later. In the spirit of industry that this early rising imbued me with, I booked a spot for Orientation at Warwick, as well as my flight to Heathrow. SIA for me, naturally, no way I'm taking BA if my tickets are being sponsored. I also applied for an exit permit at the NS portal, so am now waiting for that to be approved. I also have to take IPPT before I leave, or rather, before my next birthday. I could take it in December, since I'll be back then. I'm more curious about what'll happen if I fail, since if I remember correctly, failure means RT, but how am I going to go for RT if I'm studying overseas? Perhaps someone will call about the Exit Permit and I'll get to ask my question, though that's hardly a guarantee that I'll get an answer that makes sense and actually clarifies matters instead of obfuscating them further.
