Teddy Bear's Picnic Day/Balloon Festival (New Hampshire)/Statehood Day (Wyoming)
2008-07-10 @ 11:40 p.m.

Had to go down to CSC again this morning to do some test for PSC, and I thought I was going to be late for the lunch at MOE. Turns out I arranged just in time, except that the security person couldn't find my name on the registered list, so I had to go through the hassle of calling people to get them to verify I was supposed to be allowed to go up. Thankfully, his colleague was sharper and capable of lateral thinking. Lunch was an interesting affair, and I guess if you want to be cynical, you can say that I've been brainwashed, but at this point, I really, really think it's an exciting time to be in the teaching profession. So there! Then we had a few hasty rehearsals before the Director came back to review our performance. More tweaks will be needed, but the overall thing seems to be acceptable, which is great. I was so sleepy on the way back home just now, I kept nodding off during the train and bus rides. Sigh. I'm quite glad the cooking class on Saturday is no more, so at least I can sleep in late, as I don't think I'll be able to move my tutee's tuition back to its original date.
