Chocolate Day/Macaroni Day/Father And Daughter Take A Walk Together Day/Tanabata/Strawberry Sundae Day/Wildflower Festival (Colorado)
2008-07-07 @ 10:32 p.m.

I did eventually go to sleep, while the rest were still talking. I suppose they went to sleep too, at some point anyway. Packed everything up and had breakfast, which for me was more canned tuna with bread and digestives. I really, really like canned tuna. Haha! Then we started trekking around the island from one checkpoint to another. Got view of the island from its highest point, which was way cool! The water in the quarry was so blue, and the whole scene was definitely postcard-worthy. We got back to the OBS camp and did some reflection, where I learnt that most of my new friends think I'm too quiet, although one or two have managed to be around me in one of my more chatty moods. Then it was time to wash up all our stuff and get ready to head home! Didn't get to buy any souvenirs, but I guess what I took away from the experience of the past three days is more important, yeah? I'm toying with the idea of going back to OBS again, just to do a 14-day course as a personal challenge, which is the sort of behaviour that Eugene would find completely incomprehensible.
