Strawberry Parfait Day/Leon Day/Flower Festival (California)/Virginia Ratification Day
2008-06-25 @ 11:50 p.m.

Thanks to the same Chinese forum, I found the last track of Magna Canta's Sanctuary, Sequentia, which I've been missing all these months. My Internet connection's gone a bit nuts though, as I can't seem to connect properly to any torrents the past day or so. I don't think I've changed any settings in my computer though! Oh well. Went shopping with Ben Woon, Claudia and Thong before dinner, although only Ben Woon and I actually bought anything. I bought three pairs of jeans! One from Topman, then two from Esprit. I sort of broke my rule about only buying half-price items, but I like the jeans enough not to regret doing so. Haha! So I'm broke until I get my pay in July for work done in May, which I'll have to use to pay off my credit card bills anyway. After Ben Woon left, the rest of us met Bao En, Daniel, Derrick, Eugene and Shou Jie for dinner at The Tapas Tree, which serves lovely food. We ordered one paella and eight tapas, although the latter weren't really intended to be shared among so many people because each portion serves a maximum of three in my estimation. Those seated in the centre had to do a lot of slicing and dicing to make sure everyone got to sample a little of each tapas. So it was dinner and conversation, before drinks and more conversation at tcc. I had a good time, and I hope the rest did too! It gets harder and harder, getting people to meet up. The rest of life has this annoying tendency of getting in the way.
