Chocolate Pudding Day/Baseball Day/Beautician's Day/Summer Happening Festival (Michigan)/Watermelon Thump (Texas)

The torrent problem hasn't gone away, but I'm kind of resigned. The stuff I'm getting isn't desperately important anyway. I'm reading Michael Chiang's collection of comedies, Private Parts & Other Play Things. It's funny, I guess, in a quintessentially Singaporean way. I don't mean that disparagingly at all, just that it's not the brand of humour I instinctively identify with. It strikes a chord, undoubtedly, but ask me to pay money to see it being performed? Maybe not. I've been talking a bit to one of the PSA students on Facebook, and it's heartening to know that after those three days, the students have begun to make changes to their lives. I think I'm falling sick by the way. How ironic. I was actually going to go cycling tomorrow. Like finally. Oh well...
