Had dinner at Tong Shui Cafe, which was Audrey's idea. To her credit, the place is great, so I'll definitely go back there again, maybe with the family, maybe not. Then we had dessert at Icekimo. I had Bailey's ice-cream, which was nothing to shout about. The pomegranate flavour my mum picked was a way better choice. I'm very partial to sour stuff! Have begun reading Memory: An Anthology, which is fascinating stuff. The first section of the book is a collection of essays on the subject, approached from different fields of thought. The second section is a selection of literary works that have memory as their subject. Am considering returning some of the other library books I've borrowed, like Gautam Malkani's Londonstani, which although interesting, are as appealing as, if not less than, other things I have on my shelves. Like my Murakami collection. That and I'm a terribly ill-disciplined reader who just flits from book to book, so I probably won't finish reading everything before the books are due anyway...
