I just finished watching the two-part season finale of House, and boy, was it good. It really laid bare a side of House that has hitherto only been glimpsed. It's safe to say that I'm desperately awaiting the next season. I've sort of realised that I'm going to have to be very disciplined during my first term at Warwick, as it's when not a few of my favourite shows will be airing new seasons! I know, it's terrible. Why can't they be more considerate? Anyway, I bought a new stack of DVD-Rs today, and I realised that I sort of need a stack of CD-Rs to burn the occasional episode or two that won't fit in with the rest of a season on one DVD-R alone. Will get it the next time I'm out of the house. In other news, I got my dad to wheel the bicycles down to the nearby bicycle shop, so in the near future, I'll be zipping about Yishun, engaging in what I consider to be exercise. This is progress, and has all to do with me weighing 72 kg instead of 70 kg like I did six months ago. Admittedly, it doesn't show, and it's possible that my weighing machine's actually faulty (which my mum suggested), but hey, if I can get my weight back to 70 kg on this machine, maybe that means it's actually 68 kg in reality, which is slightly nearer to the 65 kg that I've always hoped to reach (and maintain). Though I might settle for 70 kg now. Oh well. Have almost finished reading Bite, and it is fantastic. I think I'll tell Audrey to read it. At first glance, ut seems more like her kind of book than mine, to be honest. I hide my more downmarket tastes very well. Haha... |
