Hug Your Cat Day/Compact Disc Day
2008-05-30 @ 8:52 p.m.

I am tempted to check out the jeans sale at Bread & Butter in Tangs Orchard, which is advertised in today's papers as having up to 50% discount. Very tempting, as I want to own some cult labels but I'm too poor to afford them at their original prices. I've realised that a lot of times when I see something I don't mind wearing, I end up not buying it because the price just puts me off. That's what happened yesterday when I walked through the Armani Exchange and Ted Baker stores. For the price I'd pay for one item there, I could buy two pieces at River Island or Topman that I'd probably like just as much. Branding matters to me somewhat, but not to that extent! So until I start earning a four-figure salary, I guess I'll stick to the mid-range shops. In any case, I should probably get around to discarding half of my wardrobe soon, or find some way to sell it off. Too cluttered, and I don't wear most of the stuff I own anyway. Yeah, I know it's appalling.
