Went to the office to return the EVs. I took 851 from Yishun, but I missed my stop, so I got off at Outram Park and took a taxi back to River Valley Building. Realised that I only had $2 on me, but thankfully, the driver seemed more concerned with ending his shift than allowing me to find a way to pay him. (For some reason, his taxi wasn't retrofitted to handle payment by NETS.) Felt so happy, as taking the taxi was really an act of desperation, seeing as I was already half an hour late for meeting Thong, so $2 was a very small price to pay for the convenience. I think I owed him about $6? I got lazy though, and decided to flag another taxi to VivoCity after leaving the office, partly because it was raining by that time. Bought two books at PageOne, and I might have bought more if I had a lot of time to browse through the shelves. In future though, I think I'll be more inclined to shop for books at Amazon UK, as that way I get to buy the specific editions that I want with just a few clicks. Bought two fcuk slogan tees because like my Havaianas, they were just one of those things that I had to buy to get it out of my system once and for all. (At least I didn't buy the one that said "hot as fcuk". That would have been pushing it.) Bought a pair of jeans each from Samuel & Kevin and Topman, both at bargain prices because they're old stocks that the shops are trying to clear. I think aside from G-Star, I may never buy branded jeans at their original prices again. I'll just wait for sales! Haha...
