I'm currently trying to quash a Trojan that infected my computer because I tried to crack Ricochet Lost Worlds. Maybe I should have just forked out and bought it? Ah well. I've been scanning using different software, and they all turn up different results. I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is though, so now it's a matter of finding a programme that can detect and excise it cleanly. Sigh. At least I know enough about computers to begin finding the solution. Went to Borders earlier, but I didn't actually buy anything that I'd intended to, same as what happened at Kinokuniya last week. I did find other stuff that I didn't know I wanted until I saw them though, if that makes any sense. Thong's trying to get a job there, and if he does I'll just call him up and ask him to hunt down the books for me before I go there. Haha! After Borders, Kay Hwee, Thong and I went to The Cathay to meet Daniel and Eugene. We saw Taxidermia, which was Thong's idea, although the rest of us seemed to have a better idea of what the film was about than he did. Nothing quite prepared us for what was to follow though! Suffice to say that Taxidermia has its fair share of gratuitously graphic scenes. The highlight of the film was the sequence with the floor revolving and showing the different uses of the bathtub. Here's a review of the film, which I don't entirely agree with by the way, although it does help to make sense of the film. Definitely not a forgettable experience, as the rest put it. |
