I just ate some really yummy baked potato topped with cheese. Technically, the cheese bit was yummy, whereas the potato was a bit too soft for my liking. I like my potatoes with just the faintest hint of a crunch. I wore one of the new jackets I received for my birthday to church. It's the one Chester got me from I.P. Zone, with the golden zipper. It's loud yet understated, if such contradictory descriptions of clothing are possible. The new jackets will definitely come in handy when I'm in the UK. I want to go to Borders, but I need company. I find it quite weird to shop for books alone somehow. I just like knowing that there's someone in the bookstore to talk to, should I feel like it. Sent an e-mail to the reservation team at Café Del Mar and got a call within minutes. I suspect the reason why my original reservation went unacknowledged is that the preferred seating area I specified (daybeds) wasn't actually available for reservation beyond 3 pm (I'm only heading down at 6 pm). The reservation's done anyway, so that's cool. Now I need to remind everyone who's supposed to be coming to show up! Haha...
