Alpha today was okay. I realised that I tend to ramble when I'm sharing, meandering through the matter I'm trying to convey to the rest of the people. So I swing between taciturn and verbose. I've kind of realised that I don't have a lot of friends whom I can just SMS and arrange to do stuff with. Other than Shirley, who valiantly tries her best to humour me, since I dutifully listen to her complaints and reply to her SMSes, if not always replying to the subject contained therein. The rest of my friends are either in school, or still overseas, or too busy to hang out with me, or totally not interested in the things I'd like to do. I need new friends, but it's kind of pointless to go looking for them now, since I'll be flying off in half a year's time anyway. Maybe all one can ask for is brief moments of carefree fun, like sitting in New York New York and poking fun at colleagues. Times like these, I wish I had a twin brother. That way there'd be someone in this world who's practically obliged to hang out with you. Haha...
