I thought tonight's Alpha video was a tad long! I stayed because it was kind of weird to just sing and then disappear. Randomly, I think the ringing of the bell's quite cute. Took MRT home with Tim because he didn't have his car with him. Shirley thinks I stayed on for the whole of the Alpha session just to get a free ride from Tim, which would make more sense if it actually took me way more than an hour to get home. Except that it doesn't, and going home right after singing meant I'd probably have reached home just after they finished with the video. Haha! One of the guys in my Alpha group had this awesome manga that's based on the life of Jesus. Manga Messiah. What a title! It's like a picture Bible for the new millennium. Pretty neat. There'll be people who wonder about the wisdom of reproducing Biblical content in other media, but I think as long as nothing's added or subtracted that distorts what the Bible says, then it's okay. No one's trying to replace the Bible anyway, just give people alternative pathways to get into its content.
