Went to the new BooksActually store with Shirley after my worship practice, which lasted longer than I'd expected. The cupcakes were really pretty, but I didn't have any. I did see one of my seniors, Tze Yin, helping out there, but I can't figure out if she recognised me or not. The last time I bumped into her was when I was at NUS to receive a prize for Choreography, which was a couple of years ago. Anyway, I like the new store. It's a different atmosphere from the old one, definitely, but in a good way! I'm so glad Kenny and Karen found a place to move to. It felt a bit crowded yesterday because there were about a dozen or more people in the store the whole time that Shirley and I were there. I only bought three books, but I could easily have bought two or three times as many. I'm trying to cut back on spending though, and I already have more books than I can hope to finish reading in 2008 anyway! Still have a stack of library books to clear off too...
