I feel like staying up to finish the latest novel I'm reading, Conversations With The Devil by Jeff Rovin, but I'm feeling a bit sleepy and I have the whole of this week free to catch up on all the stuff that I've been meaning to do anyway. I wrote another poem for my second cycle, Vices and Virtues. I've decided to half the length of all the future poems in the Virtues section to just seven lines. The logic is that since there are going to be twice as many poems in that section, I should have half the number of lines. As much as I have my own personal beliefs, this cycle isn't even vaguely autobiographical like the other one, Love in Hexasyllables, so I'd like to aim for some sort of balance in the presentation of Vices and Virtues. It's more like something I'm doing for fun, so I guess this obsessive need to balance things out is forgivable. Shall mark my tutee's comprehension tomorrow and feel accomplished! Haha...
