Ides Of March/Buzzard Day/Quilting Day/Eagle Festival (Maryland)/Azalea Festival (Georgia)
2008-03-15 @ 11:11 p.m.

Still not done with the album artwork thing, but I'm getting there. I was at the library today, between singing practice and William's Alpha briefing, and I borrowed this really funny book, Pardon My French by Charles Timoney. Now I happen to like the French language, and I also find some aspects of French culture quite endearing, so this book has been making me smile to myself in the train. Tuition today went fine, although we kind of got derailed talking about the US presidential elections. I'm not ashamed to admit that my tutee appears to be politically conscious than I am! Assigned him some homework, since I won't be seeing him again until a fortnight from now. It's a good thing too, because next week I really need to work on my own assignments, in between playing mahjong and going out with friends, of course. That and reading the library books that have been stacked on my table for weeks, which includes a volume of Rilke that I've been meaning to read because I think his poems are beautifully written, but precisely because they are I want to keep them till a time when I can savour them unhurriedly. Sigh. I think I waste too much of my time on almost-pointless things like tagging album artwork...
