I know I said I'd stop looking for music, but it's hard to stop. You just keep searching for more music that sounds like what you like, then you like what you find and search for stuff that sounds like it too, and so on. So that resulted in today's find: Jason Morant. Out of all the songs I added to my iPod over the past few days though, I still like Phil Wickham's After Your Heart best. I think his voice is awesome. Was browsing through the Hillsong albums from the live praise and worship series in my computer, and I think I only enjoy their live sound from the 2001 album, You Are My World, onwards. It's like with the turn of the century, their band equipment and recording technology got a massive upgrade. If you don't believe me, just go listen. You'll find that the sound of the main Hillsong band is moving closer to that of the Hillsong United band, at least that's what my ears are telling me. I think I'll go to the National Library before class. Got to remember to call the parent up about this Saturday's class. I hope the kid's doing a Literature text that I've actually encountered before myself!
