Wow. Myrtle really lives at the end of the world. We travelled back and forth on PIE in Tim's car to send her home! That explains why I reached home so late even though cell ended about an hour ago. Tim played Daphne Khoo's CD for me in the car, and I must say that it's not quite the kind of music that I expected her to make. I don't mean that in a bad way! I don't really like the songs enough to want to fork out money for the CD though. It goes into my list of things-to-buy-if-I-have-spare-cash, which is very different from the list of things-I'd-buy-even-if-doing-so-made-me-broke. Haha! We're finally having our picnic in a fortnight's time, but the location is still a secret. I bet Sarah'll be late meeting us in church, and it'll be so funny when that happens. I'm thinking of inviting a friend to the picnic, but I can't decide who it should be. Today in cell, we talked about what's holding us back from devoting ourselves to growing God's kingdom. For me, I can say it's a personality thing. I'm just not comfortable talking to people. I can do worship evangelism, which is something I'm really interested in doing if I ever get a chance to. I just can't handle talking face-to-face with someone. It links back to my being uncomfortable with talking over the telephone. I'm reading T.S. Eliot and I still don't understand what he's saying. Maybe I'm just not thinking about it hard enough. Sigh... |
