Met Mr Ong for lunch today with some of the 4Q people. I haven't seen some of them in ages, and despite what I've said about my secondary school life in previous entries, today made me realise that there are nonetheless people from that point of my life for whom I'd make the effort to keep around as friends. So guys, here's to the ides of March 2013. We're already halfway there! Makes me feel damn old, and I'm not even 21 yet. We had ThaiExpress for lunch, and I kind of made a mistake in ordering the basil chicken rice. I didn't like the sauce, but I can't figure out if it was the basil that was to blame or if the sauce was just weird to begin with. Then I went to MPH to look for Shirley's Vintage edition of The Great Gatsby. Couldn't find it, so I bought two Murakami novels, Vintage International editions that I don't remember seeing in either Borders or Kinokuniya. Was going to go shopping with Jun Kai, Mark Tan and Thong, but my mum more or less hinted that she didn't approve of me skipping service to do that, so what the heck, I went down to church, where I spent service planning next Sunday's worship, which definitely sounds like a change from the sets I've been putting together lately. On an unrelated note, some people are ridiculously inflexible.
