Finally got around to painting the final wall in my room, which was the inspiration for my as-yet unfinished fourth poem in the Vices and Virtues sequence, Acedia. Go look up what the Latin translates to and have a quick laugh at my expense. Only did the emulsion layer this afternoon, so I'll probably get around to the actual painting on Thursday and touch up any spots I missed on Friday, since tomorrow I'm supposed to go down to BooksActually with Shirley. We're going to photograph the place before it moves. Haha! Have been trying to wake up earlier, and today I made it out of bed before 10 am, which is like a record. Normally, I sleep until around 10.30 am. There's supposed to be some cohesion event on Friday for my former unit at Yishun SAFRA that I got invited to by my CSM. Now I kind of regret saying that I would go, since I don't expect many of the guys who were with me to show up. I only agreed originally because I figured it's so damn near my house anyway. Oh well...
