Bought three pairs of jeans from Esprit and a pair of khakis from Giordano. Spent more than $200, but I'm very happy! Now all I need to make me happier is find some new shirts. I would have bought some of the $10 printed tees at Giordano, but the designs I wanted didn't have size S, which strangely is what fits best. Think I'll have to pop by Man Studio one of these days, either the outlet at Junction 8 or Lot 1. I suspect there is an outlet just outside the bus interchange in Yishun, but I'm not sure if it's the same chain of stores or just a copycat. Probably the former, so maybe I'll have a look the next time I'm going out. Am not going to see La Traviata after all! So I'll be good and stick around for the whole of Ms Hope's lesson. Or maybe not. Haha! I'm seriously going to do something productive tomorrow though. Doesn't matter what, so long as it's something I consider a productive use of my time. I finished the first of what is to be a series of 21 poems about vices and virtues. It's just a manifestation of my fascination with parallelisms and patterns. I like how there are seven contrary virtues, one for each of the seven deadly sins. It's quite interesting to see how some of the English words still can be traced very obviously to their Latin origins. In another life, I do believe I could have been a philologist. |
