Am downloading Calvin Harris's I Created Disco and Gotan Project's three albums now. Also managed to find the new Shayne Ward album, Breathless, which is a more consistent offering than his self-titled debut. I must say that the title track is a bit annoying though. Think I will do something useful with my time tomorrow. I have to go down to the library anyway, to return Starbook, which I haven't finished reading. Shall aim to finish the Hardy biography instead, as well as the stack of poetry volumes published by Ethos. Going to be out and about again over this weekend. Sigh. I'm forever entertaining thoughts of being the kind of person who can just ring up a couple of friends, head down to town to bum the afternoon away in Borders or Kinokuniya, before winding up in some chic place for dinner. All this while taking lots of fantastic photographs, obviously. Unfortunately, I have no money and no friends. No money because I haven't gone to find a job, which would sort of kill any such plans to hang out other than on weekends, but the whole point is that weekdays are better for hanging out because the crowds thin out). No friends because they're all either being productive, which means earning money, or they're not the bumming sort. Sigh.
