I love my new pair of shoes. $240, green, limited edition, New Balance. I already know most of my friends won't be impressed, but I don't really care. Ben Woon was nice enough to accompany me as I traipsed around Orchard looking for a pair of shoes. I actually wouldn't have minded buying this other pair of New Balance shoes, also green, but way cheaper at $89. Shirley told me about Shu Ling's sister's shop, Leftfoot, in Far East Plaza though, which is where I found my awesome shoes. I think I've found a new favourite place to buy shoes. Haha! The salesperson says that not many people like New Balance, which I suppose is partly because it's one of the brands you encounter in the military, with the other being Brooks. The old New Balance army shoes actually look okay though, to me anyway. Anyway, I'm just glad I found a pair of shoes that I like. Watched Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem, as Ben didn't want to catch Cloverfield. In hindsight, I kind of think taking a chance on Cloverfield would have been a better idea! Haha...
