Christmas Tree Light Day/Winter Solstice/Yule/World Peace Day/Dong Zhi
2007-12-22 @ 11:59 p.m.

Yet another round of rehearsals. Things are coming together. Then I had to go to my paternal grandmother's place, because it's Dong Zhi and we're supposed to eat tang yuan (which we didn't in the end). Exhausted, and my essay is still unstarted. I'd hoped to be able to get some of it done today, but after visiting my grandmother, I'm totally beat. That and I just watched The Village, which is such a strange movie to be showing on television during the holiday season. I agree with Thong though. It's an okay movie if you don't go expecting some horror flick. I think the ending's just off though. I suppose they could make a sequel, and it would obviously suck but that's not the point. Randomly, I really liked how the yellow and red cloaks were so vivid.
