Started vetting the testimonials, which is a mildly depressing task. Am quite glad that we didn't have to write this kind of stuff when we were in RJC! I think when you write about yourself in a good light, it's awfully hard to avoid sounding either pretentious or smug. The students don't always get the balance right, so as far as possible, I try to reword what they've written so that it shows them in the best possible light. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's bloody difficult because they don't give me much to work with. Had dinner at Newton with Dan, Ka Tsai, Kay Hwee, Kelly and Sophia. If you ask me, the place is quite the tourist trap. Haha! Then we headed to Kelly's place for a very entertaining game of Munchkin. Sigh. We're all growing up, and it sure isn't all that it's made out to be...
