Got a free mocha praline frappucino from Starbucks today! Well, not exactly free, since I gave $5 to the Salvation Army people who were there. Read about this restaurant that's been having a free buffet, where you pay as much as you want and it gets donated to charity. I was quite appalled to learn that many people donated nothing at all, and didn't seem to feel bad about it. The buffet, in case you're wondering, is worth $16. Personally, I'd pay $20 or $25 if I ate there. I'm more generous than people give me credit for! I just prefer to pretend that I don't really care about such kind of stuff. Was worrying that I'd have to stay all the way till the end of today's lesson because the lecturer didn't pass out the attendance sheet at the beginning of the lesson. Luckily, he came back before the break was over, so I still managed to slip out. Haha...
