Went for my dental FFI today. Got a referral to have one of my wisdom teeth extracted. It hasn't actually erupted yet, but apparently even a little pain is too much and deserves to be treated. Going by that criterion, I should have had all four of mine extracted by now! I have no idea when's my appointment at the National Dental Centre going to be, still waiting for them to call me. With any luck, it'll be on a day when I'm supposed to be in camp and I can waste a whole day. I wonder if I could use this to make my other problem go away? That'd certainly be less morally questionable. In any case, if the tooth is to be extracted, I'll only go ahead if it happens before my ORD. No sense paying for something that I personally don't think is necessary. Logically, if it's going to cause problems and the date set is after my ORD, it really makes no difference when I do the operation anyway, since I'll end up paying the full cost. I actually think that I need braces, more than anything else. Oh, and Lasik too, but that's if I can't figure out how to stick contact lenses into my eyes without blinding myself.
