All Souls' Day/Piggy Bank Day/Deviled Egg Day/"Practice Being Psychic" Day
2007-11-02 @ 11:53 p.m.

Got seated beside a really noisy bunch of JC students in Settler's Café. So lots of screaming and squealing going on throughout the night. I don't recall ever being like that when I was a student! They're lucky I'm not one of those concerned members of the public, perpetually on the lookout for students who bring shame to their school, as nearly all of them were in uniform. Anyway, it turns out that yesterday's train service disruption was due to some electrical fault. I was telling my mum how interesting it is that the only commuter who was quoted by name in the article was the one who expressed a more forgiving attitude toward the situation, remarking that it was only the second time in 10 years that he'd been affected by such a disruption. There are plenty of Singaporeans who would contend that once is one time too many! I'm not one of them, but unfortunately I didn't hang around long enough to be interviewed. Haha...
