Chocolate Day/Mother-in-law's Day/Statue Of Liberty Day
2007-10-28 @ 8:57 p.m.

So glad that I only have to be in camp for two days this week! Rumour has it that even those of on leave on Friday will be forced to come back just to attend the COC parade in the late afternoon, after office hours. I hope it's not true, because I think that's just illogical. As if the absence of a few people is going to be noticeable! Unless it's mostly the regulars who are clearing leave in an attempt to give the parade a miss. Wouldn't be surprising! Totally bored in church today. Am halfway through Dark Water, and the stories aren't as spooky as the Ring trilogy. It's more like unsettling, but I still kind of like Koji Suzuki's writing. Am hoping that OM tomorrow won't be a drag, because I just can't stand some of the people who come down from OETI, who behave as if they're doing a favour for us by coming down, when honestly, I don't give a damn if the OM course happens or not. If people call you irresponsible and undisciplined behind your back, should you behave in such a way as to confirm their expectations?
