Went to VivoCity to watch Ensemble, C'est Tout with Eugene, Ka Tsai and Kay Hwee. I still don't quite see why the English title is Hunting And Gathering! I also don't quite see what the point of the film was. Admittedly, it was nice in a quirky way, like most French films, but I couldn't help feeling like I've seen better, like Jeux D'enfants. Nonetheless, Audrey Tautou is just adorable! After that, we wandered around PageOne for a bit, enough for me to realise that between books and clothes, I don't have much hope of saving any money from now until I go overseas. This is also disregarding the camera that I want to get for myself. Hopefully, I'll be able to persuade my dad to buy me the new handphone that I want. Headed back to camp for my team IC's farewell function. People always receive glowing tributes just before they go. It makes you wonder how sincere the people delivering those tributes really are. There's a kernel of truth certainly, but the emotional context amplifies and embellishes, at least that's the way I see it. I won't say that I'm not glad to see him go, as that would be a lie. However big his heart supposedly is, I find it extremely difficult to appreciate it.
