Tim found me the chords for Fall In This Place, so I'm definitely going to use it the next time I lead worship. I think it's a good song, but it's likely to appeal only to a certain demographic. Ah well, the last time I led I had pretty retro songs, so it's time to try out something new. Didn't pay attention to my lecturer tonight, but spent three hours reading Powerpoint slides instead. I hate how some of my coursemates expect everything to be delivered to them on a silver platter. Maybe it's because I'm not a working adult myself, so I can't fully appreciate the kind of pressures that they face as part-time students, but honestly, sometimes I wonder how much work they're actually prepared to do for themselves. You get people asking every lecturer to provide a specific essay outline (just because one of the better lecturers does), so that they can be assured that what they're writing will snare a good grade. Personally, I've never consulted my lecturers on any of my essays, so while my grades aren't stellar, they prove that it is possible to get by pretty much on your own effort. Well, I hope all the ones who complain and whine when things don't go the way they think they should are all doing better than me in this course. It'd really be a shame for them if it was otherwise! Seriously, their behaviour is just so typically Singaporean...
