Dessert Day/'You Go, Girl' Day/Sausage Pizza Day/Coming Out Day
2007-10-11 @ 11:13 p.m.

Still sick. Should have extended my MC because I was totally unnecessary in camp today. With any luck, it'll all be over by Saturday. At the very least, I need my voice back by Sunday. Too bad I'm genuinely needed tomorrow. For all my griping and grumbling, I still feel guilty if I'm the only one not working, which is more than can be said for some people who seem to have no conscience at all. Finished reading Day Watch and started on Twilight Watch. The more I read it, the more I think that it's a brilliant series that the movie adaptations seriously don't do justice to. This kind of series has to get epic treatment like The Lord Of The Rings or The Matrix trilogies. The intrigue provides enough material to fill a few seasons of a television serial. In fact, that's probably the way to go. A solid few seasons on television, although the Americans would probably screw it up and nobody would watch anything made by the Russians. Sigh. Now to wait for the last book, Final Watch, to come out in translation, as learning Russian is quite beyond my abilities.
