Bring Your Teddy Bear To Work And School Day/Tuxedo Day
2007-10-10 @ 11:01 p.m.

New lecturer's an Italian. She has an impressive knowledge of the Greek and Latin origins of medical terms that she just tosses out as part of her lesson. The woman I was sitting beside obviously can't stand the lecturer. I can see why, although as I told Shirley, I think Singaporeans are really terrible when it comes to stereotypes and prejudice. Extremely difficult to change people's mindsets. We try so hard to be cosmopolitan, but at heart, most of us are really provincial in our outlook. I bet that woman went to complain about this lecturer too, just like she did about the Filipina one from last semester. Honestly, we need to learn that the universe isn't constructed solely from our point of view. I'm in kind of a daze right now because I'm running a slight fever. Took another MC today, in what was an uncharacteristic display of weakness. I just can't be bothered anymore. I'll do what I have to do, but these days if I can avoid going to camp with a legitimate reason, I'll take it.
