Finished reading Night Watch, so now I'm starting on Day Watch. (Yeah, the book's better than the movie.) Transferred some more photographs over to the newer computer, and uploaded some to Facebook. Lots of unglam ones of Sarah! Throat's still not better, so I think I'm going to the doctor again tomorrow. Why the heck my parents have to turn it into such a big deal, I have no idea. It's not like I'm malingering. Any bloody idiot who listens to me now can tell that at the very least, I'm suffering from a sore throat, which is probably due to a throat infection. They're always saying that I shouldn't compare myself to other people, but that's precisely what they're doing when it comes to things like taking MCs. Just because Wilson goes on MC more frequently than he does work doesn't mean that the people I work with will think less of me for going on MC too. We all know who works and who slacks in the store! I'm not one to slog my guts out for no good reason, but I don't loaf if my assistance is genuinely needed. So why can't I see the doctor when I need to without everyone getting on my case? Cut me some slack here. So if I wake up tomorrow morning feeling perfectly fine, I'll chalk it up as a small miracle and give thanks. Otherwise, I'm going to the doctor.
