Dinner at Kenny Rogers was satisfying! Finished planning my worship for next week. It's a bit on the retro side, but they're still songs I like. Borrowed Night Watch, Day Watch and Twilight Watch, because as I told Eugene via SMS, my tastes aren't as exclusively highbrow as his. In any case, he doesn't even know anything about the series, so he's just judging based on the trailer for the movie adaptation, which admittedly, is slick in a very Hollywood fashion that he'd find distasteful but which I kind of enjoy. Like I said, I'm not much of a cultural snob. Don't really like the new Casting Crowns album. It's okay, but no song really stood out after the first listen. On the other hand, I loaded my Babyface: The Chillout Experience CD into my iPod, and wow. I didn't know it was that good. Better aural candy than my two Lush compilations...
