Friends' Day/Ice Cream Cone Day/Fishing Day/American Business Women's Day/Apple Harvest Festival (Wisconsin)/White Chocolate Day/Oktoberfest

The world is seeming like a really small place right now. This guy in my psychology class turns out to be the same guy another acquaintance mentioned just the other day, and also the same guy whose name I've seen pop up on Facebook occasionally because we have three friends in common, from three different stages of my life. Seriously, what are the odds? I think this qualifies as synchronicity. Anyway, I bought a tee from Island Shop in Raffles City. I'm quite pleased with it because it cost $16.50 after 50% discount and I look pretty hot in it, if I may so. I've decided that the brand of the clothes is less important than how flattering they are when you put them on, so that shall be my primary consideration when shopping for my new wardrobe. They were screening Just Follow Law in church this evening as part of some outreach event. It's funny enough, but I can't believe it was one of the films that was considered as Singapore's entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars. Thankfully, 881 is the one being entered instead. Honestly, Just Follow Law is precisely the kind of movie you don't want to showcase Singapore on an international stage, even if it is done with tongue firmly in cheek by Jack Neo.
