Just back from my second cousin's birthday party. He's only a year old! His cake was really extravagant. Some Winnie-the-Pooh design, and there was actually a Pooh figure, with his pot of honey and everything. Kids these days are getting luckier. Today's MCQ test was very, very, very slightly harder than Thursday's. Not bad though, considering I studied way less this time. I rarely get to sleep late on Saturday mornings now, for reasons that are best left undiscussed. So I bummed until about an hour before I had to leave, and then studied furiously from then till I got to class. The clay is only useful for one thing - keeping my fringe away from my forehead. My hair tends to start curling once it grows fairly long, so I'd have to apply a lot of clay to straighten my fringe. It's only a matter of time before I decide that all this is too much trouble and that the unstyled look is better. Maybe when I get to university and can't be bothered. Borrowed a bunch of books from the National Library today, so I'll post brief mini-reviews as and when I finish reading them. I'm quite amazed that the National Library actually buys signed editions of books! It also has relatively rare stuff like The Whalestoe Letters, which I was really surprised to find earlier this year. Now if the National Library had a copy of The 50-Year Sword, I'd be thoroughly blown away.
