Chocolate Milkshake Day/Video Games Day/Rosh Hashanah
2007-09-12 @ 10:01 p.m.

Facebook has put me back in touch with at least three primary school classmates. These are people who were among my close friends in Chongfu, but I somehow lost touch with them after transferring to Nanyang. So even though nearly a decade has elapsed since we've spoken, let alone met, I'm glad that I found them on Facebook. After all, they're a part of my childhood, and you know how we all feel about that. The nostalgia, the innocence. Haha! Was reading Loop in camp today, before I got called away to do menial secretarial work that ended in my coming home a few hours later than usual, and I like how each successive book in the trilogy recasts its predecessor in a new light. I'm afraid you'll have to read all three of them to understand what I mean. Didn't study today, so I'm going to study in camp. It should be a peaceful day, and I finished my last lesson plan after lunch, so I sincerely feel I deserve to be left undisturbed. Anyway, today was one of those rare days when even the laziest arses in the store were forced to do something productive. It was quite satisfying in some perverse way, them having to stay back late with the rest of us. I got a paper cut though. Sigh...
