National Sobriety Day/Swap Ideas Day/Sewing Machine Day
2007-09-10 @ 9:18 p.m.

Finished reading Ring and started on the sequel, Spiral. Now grinding in Granado Espada again. It's a bit boring at the moment because all I'm doing is trying to raise my characters' levels. I've actually all the body parts to build Catherine, but I can't activate the quest because I don't have a character with a high enough level. Can't buy an RNPC card with a high starting level either because I don't have enough vis. So I'm reduced to grinding in dungeons. Slow work, but satisfying in some obscure way. It rained today! I was pretty happy because I like rain, but it was more of an anaemic drizzle than a massive downpour, so that was sort of a letdown. Still, I managed to finish reading James Blish's Cities In Flight tetralogy, which was very nice. I like epic plots! I feel like reading Neal Stephenson's novels, but they're so intimidatingly thick that I've never bothered to pick one up. Haha...
