Have a better than vague idea of what I want to write for the AP106 essay, and the AP104 essay is basically going to be an exercise in avoiding plagiarising the Paul Chance chapter. Really good thing that I'm on leave on Monday, because I don't think I'm going to get anything done tomorrow. I know I've said that I hate conducting OM courses, but this time around, the specialist in charge of the lesson is really slack. He's almost deferential in his treatment of me and my colleagues, which amuses me greatly. Finally, someone who respects us! Today turned out to be a better day than I expected. I really like how it's been pouring for the last few weeks. I don't really care that it's disrupting things in camp, but then again, I don't really care about what happens in camp anymore. I've learnt that it's not worth the frustration; I'm still unlearning the inbred need to make things right. Anyway, back to the rain. I love thunderstorms, the ones we get in Singapore at least. I'm not too keen on hurricanes and the like. I heard some places got flooded, which almost never happens in this country. Don't you think the urban landscape just detracts from the beauty and grandeur of a good downpour though? |
